Barry's manager lost that fight for him....we all know that fair skinned people have to be a bit carefull of sunny conditions....Barry is extremely fair skinned, and to make him go fifteen rounds in hot weather like that, showed unbelievable bad judgement.

actually ,and I have it on good authority (Gordon Ferris who was another british/irish boxing champ and buddy of Barrys) that Barry was very sick before and after that fight due to heat exhaustion and de -hydration...Gordon is a customer of mine

@RickstaRIIx Dont contradict yourself my friend,make up your mind,did Cruz win fair and square or did the heat beat Barry and Cruz deserves no credit or respect for his hard erarned win? Nice excuse,nobody likes extreme hot weather even if you are born in a hot town,heat will punish everyone not just McGuigan.

But i have no doubt had the fight taken place in Ireland or england Barry would of stopped him.

@cainey66 the only thing the heat did is let Barry get a hot ass whooping! That's it!!!!Stevie fought in the same heat so the heat played no part, just something to make excuses for!
