Chapter 8!
*Nick's POV*
I was standing at the corner of the room hitting my head on the wall thousands of time wishing it would at least hurt just a little.
"I hate my life. I hate my life. I hate my life. I HATE MY GOD DAMN LIFE!" I yelled in frustration and punched the brick wall again and creating another massive hole in it.
"Gosh darnit Nick. I don't want this house to collapse." Kevin mumbled.
"Why would that matter?! We would live through it anyway!!!" I held up my hands.
"Wow you really need to chill." Joe came up to me and started to pick up the broken bricks.
"I wish this house could collapse. At least we would deserve it! I also wish I could feel the pain. But no!!!" I yelled.
"Nick! You are hungry! When was the last time you went on a hunt son?" My dad came up to me.
"I don't remember." I slumped my shoulders.
"Then it must've been along time ago." Dad patted my back.
"Yeah. I guess it has." I scratched the back of my head.
"Go to Montana. We all know that's where the best food is." Dad smiled.
"But Marissa. She hates me." I looked down.
"Nick. It was only a dream. None of that was real." Kevin said.
"I don't get why you can't just move on Nick." Someone mumbled. We all turned to Taylor. She was leaning by the stairway her arms crossed infront of her chest. her eyes were black filled with jealousy.
"Now Taylor, we let you into this household. Don't ruin it." My mom growled.
"I'm just trying to make a point, Denise. Nick, she could have tried to fight for you back. But no. She let you go."
"She tried Taylor!! I was the selfish one!" I yelled. Kevin calmed me down. Taylor just rolled her black eyes and stomped upstairs. I sighed and said goodbye to the family and started towards Montana. I was walking into the woods when a bunch of deer started to stamped towards me. Dumb animals. In the distance I heard the sound of a mountain lion. I grabbed a good size buck and started to fiest. Once I was done I started to walk somemore. I sensed the smell of the mountain lion I heard in a distance and started to walk towards it. The scent was too strong. It had to be bleeding. I got close enough to see two figures. One a girl and another small boy.
**Marissa's POV**
Junior and I started walking into the forest since he was getting a little hungry. It was a quiet walk. Too quiet. Usually Junior would be all talk about how excited he was for the hunt and chasing down the animals. But nope, he just had a frown on his face. Must've been because of the dream. I rubbed my fingers through his hair.
"It's only a dream Nicholas. None of it was real." I whispered.
"Yeah. Sure." He mumbled. I opened my mouth to say something but Junior sprinted out of my view. I followed him and saw him tackle a mountain lion! Crazy kid. The mountain lion snarled and snapped at the little toddler but it was too fast and strong to win. I joined in and took a bite at the animal's neck. It started to die slowly. We started to fiest. While fiesting I could hear the sounds of sticks and twigs snapping from a mile away get closer and closer every minute. I started to get nervous. It got close enough that I could smell it was no mortal. Immortal. Vampire. I became scared for Junior. My mother instincts turned on. Another twig snapped but it was atleast 15 yards away. I pushed Junior behind the vampires view and hissed at the vampire. But I stood up right away and felt my knees wanting to collapse as soon as I saw his perfect face. It was Nick. He looked crushed. Like he was in so much pain. We stared at eachother while Junior tried to get out of my grip to see who it was.
"M-Marissa?" He stuttered. I could see his eyes get watery. Then I felt mine get watery too.
"Nick?" I whispered. Junior jumped a little and tried even harder now to get out of my grip. I became afraid of what might happened. I started to cry softly.
"Marissa," Nick took a step forward. "I am so so sorry." He whispered cried. I took a step back. I must've loosened my grip on Junior because he jumped to my side. When he saw his father a huge smile spread across his face. I grabbed his shoulders so he wouldn't move.
"Who is this?" Nick pointed his own son. I can't believe he can't realize how he looks just like him!! I leaned on a tree and started to cry crossing my arms to my chest. I breathed out. I closed my eyes. I guess he deserves to know right?
"Your son." I whispered loud enough for him to hear it. Suddenly, he was whiter than ever before and his eyes went wide.
"W-what?" He gasped.
"DADDY!!!" Junior held out his hands and ran into his father's arms.
