Albums I suggested in this video:
1. B L A C K I E - "True Spirit and Not Giving a Fuck" EP (noisey hip hop)
2. Bomb The Music Industry! - "To Leave or Die in Long Island" (feel good punk rock)
3. The Cure - "Pornography" (depressive post punk)
4. Dr. Octagon - "Dr. Octagonecologyst" (lyrically technical hip hop)
5. Flower Travellin' Band - "Satori" (japanese psychedelic rock)
6. Pearl Jam - "Live On Two Legs" (emotional grunge-y live album)
7. Refused - "Songs to Fan the Flames of Discontent" (raw post hardcore/hardcore punk)
8. Saul Williams - "Saul Williams" (poetic industrial hip hop)
9. Skream - "Skream!" (soothing dubstep)
10. UMC's - "Fruits of Nature" (calming/positive hip hop)

  • Really liked the cure suggestion austin.

  • Flower Travellin' Band are pretty great. I'm glad to see that you found that. It's bad that you can't get into 70's psych or prog, there's just way too much good music from many countries of the world that fit into those labels.

Also, dr.Octagonecologyst -as you say- is nice.

  • @skippingboy123 he has a humongous external drive, prob in TB margin?

    Am I right @Threecreation?

  • "Hey guys, Three Creation here back again today with uh...a.. another hipster outfit for you today."

  • Thanks for recommending BTMI! Loving a lot of there discography so far

And I would've killed to go to a Kool Keith concert :p

  • Yo dawg, we need more of these videos!

  • thanks for introducing me to The U.M.C.'s, I can't believe this went under my radar. it's far greater and more consistent than most other albums that get all the glory, like A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing and Straight Out the Jungle

  • That BTMI album is actually called To LEAVE or Die in Long Island. Might want to change that in the description.

  • Sometimes your genre descriptions are so specific I wonder if you made them up. :P

  • satori part one is absolutely brilliant ! Glad that someone mentioned flower travellin band
