The C&K Street Series features Commoners and Kings performing impromptu spoken word poems on the streets of Southern California. Episode 12 Features GUEST POET, Tshaka Campbell and it might require you to watch it twice because you cheat yourself if you don't listen close. Every word placed neatly and perfect in a greater machine. While visiting from London I catch him gushing about his family as he shows me his daughter's name on his arm at the GETTY CENTER, a museum that sits above the 405 freeway and a perfect compliment to Tshaka precise wordplay. He spits WOMAN, a poem that examines the nature of our female counter parts. One thing you must know about Tshaka is he loves the texture of words and it shows in his work.
