Anny Ondra - Die grosse Sehnsucht

Anny Ondra for the first time as herself in motion picture. In this movie, directed by Steve Sekely (1930), she is using same costume as in the final scene of Die vom Rummelplatz, and of course, she is using her big fame of the time.

In 1938 she repeat her self part in remake of this movie, Es leuchten die Sterne, now as wife of Max Schmeling. And her final role for movies, at all, was her third herself cameo in Die Zürcher Verlobung (1957). Again with Max.

This is very rare silent version of early German talkie, as it was showing in cinemas without sound installation. And it was full of silent stars with theirs first lines in movies (and for lot of them it was last talkie at all).
