Lion movie San Francisco Zoo

Video taken just after the big cat feeding, a handsome male lion looks around his cage. He and the other cats seemed annoyed by all the people gawking at them! I was visiting friends on vacation and was lucky to get to witness these beatiful animals up close at this fantastic facility. Lunch was rabbits, btw.

Ive been to this zoo its not the lions real habitat thats just the area where the zoo personnel feed and clean the lions. Theres a bigger part behind the "cage" a door opens a path. Its closed so you wouldnt be able to see it.

Yes good point, they only hold them in here for an hour or so so the public can see them feeding up close. It would definitely be against the policies of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums which the San Fran zoo is a part of to house any animal like this. Their habitat area is actually very large - the cats have a lot of room to roam around freely.

it would be imposible to set it back into the wild after being feed by humans and not knowing how to hunt.
