yeah mine is one with a maple fingerboard as well as the neck that's what i meant it's called an s540jm you oughta check em out they're sick

my s470 has maple neck and its only a year or two old. But fuck yeah they are nice to play. The S series are so nice and light and have amazing tone.

definitely i could be wrong but as far as i know that's an s2170 i've played quite a few of those and his looks like one if it's not then it's definitely modeled after one the 12th fret inlay the white tuning pegs and flat figured bubinga top says it's the s2170 however. i've steered away from the new ibanez myself i just traded for a 1993 ibanez s540 :) maple neck for the win
