A sample of the Fulltone Fulldrive II vs Fulltone Fulldrive II Mosfet, with a Fender Stratocaster Custom Shop '60 Relic Time Machine, a vintage '72 Hiwatt Custom 100 head + a 4x12 Simms Watts cab with Fane speakers... (with a Zoom Q3HD)

  • @ANuisanceRockBand Non-Mosfet version sounds a little bit darker, with a little bit more basses to my hears. The Mosfet version sounds more "open", brighter and biting. Anyway you have a great pedal, good choice. Thanks! :-)

  • Thanks for posting this. I just bought the non-mosfet version and was worried that I missed something. But frankly, I like the sound of the non-mosfet version just a little better in your A/B test. Who knew? Thanks again -

  • @stianjohnsrud Hi, thank you! The Simms Watts has vintage SimmsWatts/Fane speakers and it's great for my Hiwatt. A little more "soft" than my Fanes in my vintage Hiwatt combo.

I have the Simms Watts 100 MKI head too and it's wonderful! :)

Thanks a lot, have a good one!

  • Cool video!

How do you like the SImms Watts cab? Is it a good mach for your Hiwatt?
