You should have a working (albeit insecure) web developement platform at the end of this Howto, starting from a base install of Ubuntu desktop

  • Sorry about the terrible video quality - maybe you can see the text better in the HQ upload.

    Anyway, the process is straightforward. I just did a few minutes of googling to get it figured out, not hard to duplicate. This video was for an MIS class project that I did not care about, so I'm not really going to redo it anytime soon

  • creating these non-spoken high technical videos just alienate newcomers to ubuntu and all their attendant nightmares like - how difficult does it have to be to install joomla?
