How To Revert To Windows Phone NoDo From Mango Beta / RTM

Windows Phone Mango should be out any time now but you will only get the update if you are on the official track. This means that if you are already running Mango Beta or RTM, you'll have to revert to NoDo in order to get further updates.

In this video we'll show you how to revert to Windows Phone NoDo from Windows Phone Mango Beta or RTM, a state in which you will have to wait for the official refresh to hit your phone.

Just got word that you don't need to do this as they are rolling out a pre-Mango update to clean out the beta software

My zune software isent seeing the back up file i placed in the windows phone update folder. When I go to update in the software its no showing the restore option. Why is this happening ? I have Zune version 4.8

There is no need to revert. The update takes care of the beta situation with no data loss. Pretty damn sweet if i do say so myself. I had the beta and have found my Focus to be smoother, prettier, and all around fadter on just about everything. There are many little datails added it now that make it fun and nice to look at.

My Zune is saying - Current phone software version 7.10 (7720).... But isn't Mango is 7720? If not any suggestion on what i do to get "Mango"? I don't have nay back up saved up. Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks

I am afraid i don't have any back saved up. I can see "PremangoState2" folder. When i click on it it takes me to another folder. Nothing like you mention in video. Any other way to revert back? Please help :(

I have Omnia 7. I had BETA on it. When i connected to Zune it said to download update, which i did without reverting it back. But my Zune is still suggesting "Your phone is up to date - Current phone software version 7.10 (7720). My phone is showing "Software: Windows Phone 7.5". I am confused, please help?
