to me Darci was better than Barbie. That doll was my favorite. I also had a doll that said Candie on the shirt. Does anyone remember that doll?

Thanks for posting, I loved my Darci doll. I pretended she ran the disco all my barbies went to . Cher sang there alot and Darci dated Ken for a while but they never married she was too busy with the disco lol

I just got a Darci off of ebay. She has her original outfit, shoes, and cover girl magazines that were included in her box. She's just as beautiful as she was all those years ago.

Wow this is Great to see the original Covergirl Darci Commercial!I remember this commercial when I was very young only seen it once.You know it was stuck in my mind for all these years.Now that I collect the dolls I just luv how beautiful & glamourous Darci is to this day.I am so happy that the doll lived on in the Jem & Holograms dolls :)Thank you so much for posting it brings back so many fond memories.

OMG!!! I've been waiting for someone to post this commercial on here. Thank you! I totally remember this commercial and its catchy jingle, then wanting this doll so much and then getting her for Xmas. Joy! She was slightly bigger than Barbie. I still have some of her clothes in a box w/ my old Barbie dolls... but no more Darci, unfortunately. :-(
