@Marky11694 You think this wouldn't work because the delorean always reappears in the same location from which it jumps, however that's exactly the reason this would work! Since the Earth revolves around the sun, unless they time traveled to the same time of year as when they left, by all means they would appear in space! :P

Big problem with this joke is that the enterprise would have been nowhere near earth and the delorean could not have gone that far from earth it would have arrived on earth no matter when they traveled to

@Marky11694 That would be a problem with logic, not the joke. This video is humor and doesn't suggest that the events in it are actually possible. I believe your criticism is better directed at the creators of Back to the Future and Star Trek who have evidently convinced you that the worlds they create are completely scientifically possible.
