Granted we cant see inside the firebox or the actual exhaust, but it seems as though the run from where the fire is to where the exhaust is, is just a bit too narrow and or far away from the actual fire to get and maintain the airflow in the proper direction.
What a beautiful stove though, magnificently crafted. Now put that same attention to the the exhaust and you'll have a real prized stove there.
I doesn't look like your pipe was dirty or clogged. It looks more like the pipe was too narrow to develop the lift necessary to evacuate an open front oven like that, given the ambient temperature in that area. (I was noting how green everything was in the background.)
No offense meant here at all, but there are so many stove designs that are so much more efficient and powerful, have you looked into them? The Bharatlaxmi Stove is one of them. (cost= about $13 and is smokeless) A well-designed rocket stove can heat your lunch and your house at the same time and produces no smoke. Look up "Rocket Stove and Natural Building Workshops" on youtube. The Lucia stove is incredible as well. I wish you all the best!
Doesn't sound like it's drafting correctly. Maybe stick a short pipe in the front that sticks out a few inches to draw fresh air and goes some where between 1/2 and 3/4 the length of the firebox, adjusting the length as necessary.
Rule Number One - Straighten the exhaust duct for a better draft.

my question is where can you buy/get the griddle? i live in the usa and can't find that kind of griddle.

you really need a bigger chimney pipe. is that a 4 inch diamiter? go for 6 and you wont have such a bad draft.

Nice oven though. Looks real sweet.
