@funnymanify without meaning to be offensive, the two videos tell you exactly what you need to do. Why are you asking me this?

I am having trouble with Intonation. My fat E saddle is All the way Back against the whaletale, cant go any further ...yet im still SHARP ..... Im wondering would Changing the string Gauge ,either lighter or heavier .....effect where the E saddle intonates correctly??

ok so i just took off all the old strings off my floyd. and just replace them with new ones. but my bridge is not parallel to the body of the guitar. it farther back. is this because i need to change the spring to the strings which are 9s or were the old 11s or somthing?

Respond to this video... dont mess with the truss rod or anything for that matter on a guitar if it dosent need any messing unless you know what you're doing,i bought a vigier anyways so i dont have to worry about weather changes or frets popping out or fret buzzes or any of that shit, the neck is 10% carbon is just rock solid,it doesnt move so it dosent need any rod, plus it sustains for days

@dimert i always tighten or loosen the truss rod with strings turn to pitch, its no big deal unless you do some retarded move and tighen the rod all the way to a braking point,or less retarded and brake a string...you go have half...well not even half of a turn each time...quarter of a turn...check the straightness with a ruler..check repeat...check repeat..and so on,the rod's main purpose is to counteract the string pressure on the neck...its NOT for string action, thats not what its made for

@Pedalbored no worries, my good... man? lady. Whatever you are, you are welcome.
I have a problem here. My guitar (floating floyd rose bridge) is currently tuned in drop C and the string gauge is 11, 14, 18, 30, 42, 52. (Note: It couldn't be tuned to higher tuning no matter how I tried). Now I bought a new set of strings with gauge of 10, 13, 17, 30, 44, 52 and I want to tune it back to standard tuning (EADGBE). What adjustments should be done to the guitar in response to these drastic changes? I asked a staff from a guitar store and he said there's no need to make any.

@megadroogie90 You should be able to manage standard E with 10's... however you have a very heavy top there with 30 to 52. You'll need another spring or 2 placed onto the trem block and the claw to provide enough pull, however it might only be able to accomodate 3 at once. If that's the case and you want to use standard E I'd make sure that the springs are set at diagonals where possible and drop to a 9 to 46 set to ease the tension. Hope this helps?
