  • OH-MY-GOD it's terrible !!! Please stop it ! I'm a cello teacher and I feel insulted by the way you teach. Please if you're a beginner, this DOES'NT HELP. This man is not a professional cellist, plays wrong (oh my god- his intonation) and gives wrong informations !!!

  • He's been playing for 14 years!!!! Holy crap!! This guy's wasted 14 years because he's absolutely shit. I don't think anyone can help him now!

  • Just an FYI it's not called sliding, or atleast the more common term to address this is called a 'glassando' Btw please work on intonation...

  • @cascaritadenaranjita Lol It's expert village.com, everything that comes from this site is useless.

  • @Kamaza9 LMAOOOOOO HHHAHAHAHA WTF

  • terrible. I will start to throw eggs to my monitor in a second

  • @Dan221075 just don't get your lessons from the "expert villager" here

he is really really bad! you will not learn to play the cello. by the way he sits and positions his arms, he will not even teach you to sit at it properly.

  • @myalovekiet this made me laugh almost as much as the video.

if you don't know anything about the instrument, please just don't say anything.

at a certain point (called the 4/4 cello), you can't go much bigger (unless you have it made special, but, seriously, why would anyone do that?), even if you, like, duuuuh, would like know it because (a.k.a. b/c) you played in an orchestra.

  • @Connielthomas beginners are where he will do most HARM!

    that's the point!

his technique is horrible. his hands are positioned in a way that leads to tendonitis pretty soon once you practice for longer periods of time.

  • what's verbato?!

    ROFL

  • @FlinckJanne1981 you can rent a cello.

although this means monthly costs for you.

also, if you're learning from anything besides a real life teacher, don't learn from expert village. they really DON'T know what they are talking about.

instead, there may be some better videos on here. you can really trust people's comments. they are trying to help people like you by saying that this guy is bad.

there is a book by maria kliegel, and it has a DVD, I don't know about the level, though...

  • @cascaritadenaranjita i dont know anything about cello, thats why i watch these vids, but who has all information or that much as the expertvillage? if theres better place i will go, but i cant afford real teaching so i teach my self by watching youtube vids and what is good cello for beginner, that is good enough, but cheapest in my towns store is 1200 euros, they say its cheapest kind, i dont want crap one, is 1200 euro cello crap?. i dont wana buy new one in a long time.
