@geoff189d My grandmother had the 78 RPM that you mention and I remember listening to it when
I was 5 years old back in 1966 ! I have found the version, search for : "George Olsen and his music"

I bought an old 78rpm record of this song when I was a child. It had the sound of a steam engine in the background but was not Jeanette singing. I went and accidently broke it after only a few weeks. Shame - but now we have Youtube! Thanks for posting.

Love the way she says "blyewoo" Horizon. What an amazing voice! Why do they think modern performers have talent. I have heard better recordings of her voice and she was just incredible! My mom watched these movies when she was a little girl and had magazine pictures of Jeanetter MacDonald and Nelson Eddy on her walls. I listened to them when I was little too, in the 1950s. She will always be the "cream of the crop" when it comes to divas!

Thank you for doing this. Lou Christie does a great version but the orginal complete with scracthes is fantastic. Love this old stuff.
