  • How many steps does the Clipper tool have?

  • @Radenska512 If you are referring to how many points you can make before it clips, just 3, because of 3 dimensions and all.

  • @im2n2rc You see, I've been trying to make a map for Wolfenstein and when I didn't know what the clipper tool was about I could make 200 dots to clip, not just 3. That was in GTKradiant 1.4.0. Now I'm using 1.5.0.

  • @Radenska512 The reason why you should only need 3 points is that is all that is needed to create a clipping plane in 3d space. I'm not sure how 200 clipping points would come in handy, unless you are creating terrain, and there are much easier ways to do that.

  • @im2n2rc Numerous clipping steps are handy if you.. let's say you wanna make a crack in the wall. You just point them on a wall and cut the shape out. At least that's how I picture it. Which version of GTK are u using anyway?

  • @Radenska512 Interesting, I suppose that would be useful although messy. I am using 1.5.

  • @im2n2rc By the way, do you happen to know how to get the gensurf plugin for 1.5.0. (terrain maker). I used it in 1.4.0. but it's not included in 1.5.0.

  • Thanks!

  • that was nice! Thanks!

Im doing other stuff right now but this may come in handy later on

  • Wow. You just allowed me to do some detailing on a door that I never would have figured out before. I pretty much worship you right now.
