'Every Child Needs A Hero' was originally written as a tribute to my parents (as it turned out on the day before the death of Princess Diana). After 9/11 it acquired a new meaning for me and I used it to raise money for the NY Police & Fire Widows and Childrens Benefit Fund. Subsequently it has been used to help support the charity S.P.R.I.N.G. (Supporting Parents & Relatives In Neonatal Grief)based at Poole Hospital in Dorset, UK.
Finally, if you've done a "QOL" course over the last few years you've probably heard a very early recording.
I hope you enjoy 'Every Child Needs A Hero' and find your own meaning in it.
Mandy
