Stop abusing logic.

Logic is not your friend. Logic is no one's friend. It is not something you can just toy with. Logic is on no one's "side."

Logic is but a simple tool. It does not tell you what truth is. It does not tell you when something is false. It can perhaps help you come to those conclusions, but that is nothing inherent about logic itself. A screwdriver does not build a car; it is only a tool used to arrive at the final product, along with many other tools and the hands by the men and women who build it and utilize such tools.

Logic cannot tell you if God exists. Logic cannot tell you what is moral. It is not "illogical" to claim one thing or another, it is only "illogical" to present an argument which is not logically valid in some way. A valid argument does not necessarily have a true conclusion, and an invalid argument does not necessarily have a false conclusion. The truth and falsity of things are completely independent of logic.

Only arguments can be logical. Atheism is not "logical." Christianity is not "logical." Nor are these things "illogical." You can debate the rationality of these things but not the logic of them because they are not arguments but ideological positions (or the lack thereof).

Logic does not support anything.

Logic is a tool. Nothing more.

Stephen Wright says "I am going to live forever, so far, so good."  Logic is only a path, it selects its own trail, and humans often fail to see will it will lead. Logic, is not logical. Two men both claiming 'logic', will often disagree - where is the logic in that? Logic proves to those who have previously come to a conclusion, that the conclusion is logical. All people who have died at one point would breath air, eliminating air could prevent death. Illogical or experientially unsound?

Interesting video. I may misunderstand the point here, but It seems to me that you're suggesting that both Atheism and Theism are "logical" depending on the point of view. Then again I'm an idiot so what do I know?

Sarcasm is a very risky thing to use on YouTube comments. However if you do use it, use it properly otherwise you end up sounding like an idiot. Correct spelling couldn't hurt either...
