Greetings. We are an unconventional sibling duo, formed in 1989 after the birth of Amy. This is a song we wrote one afternoon in 2006, the original version of which is featured on our 2007 album 'Science', and can be heard at the following location:

If you're really that interested you can also read the lyrics there, but don't you have better things to do with your time?

  • Noooo! They're drinking bagged tea! Looooooooooose leeeeeaaaaveees!

  • @Astralnemesis The tea I (Ben) was drinking in this video was Yogi Egyptian Licorice (sic), which is of course a herbal infusion rather than a true tea. I can tell you that it's very nice, bag or no bag. In fact the bag allows it to infuse for longer, which is why I left it in. Advantage: bag!

  • they've been drinking mushroom tea..

  • @sketchturner88 Is there such a thing? The song was written while drinking regular english breakfast type tea, and the tea drunk in this video is not strictly tea but herbal infusions. I (Ben) had liquorice tea, I can't remember what Amy's was. I'm afraid no other help was needed, we are actually like this all the time.

  • Dear God I hope this goes viral...

  • @mediocrefunkybeat Yes I know, it really ought to. I mean, everyone likes tea. I predict 'x number of people don't like tea' dislike reference jokes in future.

  • Don't you mean Pu'er?

  • What exactly is tea. Is it like a chicken?

  • @wtfuchattin Ooer!

  • @jerrygreg2 I think clipping it to your nose is an equally useful way to enjoy tea, although not so conventional. Tea on!

  • I may actually be in lust with Amy. That is all. Good day.

  • @RagdollAlice A tea egg? Is that what the wee egg-shaped, colander type thingy in my drawer is? I should stop clipping it to my nose, buy some loose tea and use it properly!

  • @Astralnemesis I think you can rest assured that we know how to drink tea proper, my friend. But thank you for the advice.

  • @RagdollAlice @Beanandamoo The bad thing about tea bags is what they are made with. In the course of tea production the finest leaves are first made into high quality loose teas, then the lesser leaves are made into loose tea, then the last leaves are made into loose tea and what is left on the tea sorting tray after that is put into bags. That is the general gist of it. I will allow you to drink bagged tea but urge you to always use loose tea to achieve a proper quality infusion. ^^

  • @Astralnemesis I (Amy) would like you to know that I am actually a massive tea snob, if you hadn't already guessed thank you, and most frequently have tea made with loose leaves and the aid of my tea egg! So there! Although as ben says there are advantages to bags. But you do lose a bit o' flavour.
