How long was her hair before she started her locks?

5 years of growth before she had her hair loced. 5 years of growing and maintaing the dread, so 10 years of growth. Many people think they are extensions, but her hair has grown very fast being in dread loc form. It was just past shoulders when she first got dreads then they grew down to her hips in 5 years.

Dread locs are such a beautiful art form to so many people. When we open our arms and embrace other cultures it offers to them the experiences of our ancestors. These experiences travel with them and are reflected in their words and actions.
I believe that the insights of particular cultures helps to ease and establish the interconnections between different races, creating peace and harmony amongst open minded people. Peace and blessings be with you
