@Designing5 The memory should be set to the highest amount available. To check the ammount or RAM you have in your system you can press on the start orb and right clock on computer>properties and look under "Installed Memory (RAM)"

@MrMeztv It depends, but the biggest difference you will notice is multitasking....

@GigooComputerSupport i currently have a icore 3 processor and 4gb ram im upgrading to 8gb next week will that make it boot up faster?
MrMeztv 9 months ago
@MrMeztv You can try to disable some startup programs, and/or services listed in the description... Make it boot faster... Or if you have money buy a new processor/more ram... My computer boots up in about 15 seconds on a AMD Athlon II x4 with 8Gb of RAM (Also handling about 25 startup programs)

@GigooComputerSupport ok the thing is windows 7 already uses all the processors and ram by default at boot. its the welcome screen thats making it slow for me

ok thanks yh i checked the correct ram, but my issue really is that it takes 15-20 seconds to get from welcome screen to desktop, im not sure if this is due to mcafee
