This is my video review of Red Steel. The video was a work in progress from October of 2007 to January of 2008, not because it's too long (Granted it's longer than my other reviews) but because I had multiple issues going on at the time, from computer, Mic, and overall time problems. I bleeped out the swear words because in my opinion it's funnier that way, because since these reviews aren't live, my acting was horrible. While I don't swear as much as I do in this video in my future videos, I don't think I'll start bleeping again, unless I make a Youtube Poop. Red Steel is full with Problems, and unfortunately it was the one of the first games I bought for my Wii, along with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, which is mentioned. 0:15 - "Legendary", is a bit subjective, I recently heard LeisureSuitGaming talk about how it is almost exactly the same as Ocarina of Time, so he obvious doesn't share my view, in my opinion, it's more like this: 40% Ocarina of Time, 15% Majora's Mask, 10% Wind Waker, 35% original shit. Mostly they had to go back to this formula because as far as I saw, everyone was complaining about how Wind Waker and Majora's mask were too different from Ocarina of Time, so the overall setting and style is the same as Ocarina Of Time. Besides, it's not like the games are direct sequels, they're almost 10 years apart with 3 console sequels and 3 handheld sequels in betweens, wow, I went off on a bit of a rant didn't I? 0:17 - Yes, I will refer to myself in the Third Person when I don't say my name prior to make sure that no one steals this video and calls it their own. 0:19 - In case you're wondering: Here are my Virtual Console games: Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels, Bubble Bobble, Punch Out, Super C, Kirby's Adventure, Bonk's Adventure, Sonic: The Hedgehog, Super Metroid, The Legend of Zelda: A link to the Past, Dr. Mario, and Super Mario 64 1:06 - Yes I did get that statistic from Gametrailers, if I wanted to be completely original, I would have said: "You're going to find yourself shooting more swinging in this game though" 1:18 - Besides Metroid Prime, I haven't played a game that hasn't fucked up FPS controls on the Wii. 2:02 - I personally found this anger to be out of no where, and nothing before this was particularly broken, so I would say that this is a bad organization moment on my part. 3:01 - Another issue of organization, I wouldn't think stupid ass enemies would be a learning problem. 3:10 - That was my case, I beat the whole game, and I still couldn't remember everything about the controls. 4:03 - Believe me, there are MUCH worse cases of bad acting and scripts in this game, but my old computer was pretty slow so I didn't want to look through all the footage I captured. 4:21 - Another bad organization moment, this kind of comes out of no where doesn't it. 4:31 - That pissed me off because I remember whole scenes where they spoke nothing but Japanese, and I just had to wait there until someone said a rough translation. 6:16 - Yes I know that Resident Evil 4 is not a First Person Shooter, but it has more playability options than any other shooter I've ever played. (Pin Point bullet damage reactions, many guns with many upgrades, and other stuff) 6:17 - 19 Cheats Baby, but Goldeneye 007 also has a lot of Playability options and also has some bad ass Multiplayer. 6:19 - While I hate Gaylo 3 because of the shitty single Player, the Multiplayer is fun. 6:46 - I erased my data a while ago and was replaying this game after a while. 7:18 - I know I sound dumb all of a sudden talking to the game as a person or something, also: Editing Problem from now on: Delayed Bleep, I don't know what happened, but something went wrong, I don't have this in the raw form anymore so can't go back and reedit. 7:28 - I couldn't get anyone else to play, so I had to do this all on my own, and I think it shows. 8:08 - While this tune is a bit odd, I gotta say, all the music in this game is awesome. 8:39 - I've never actually played Shaq Fu, but it does have quite a bad reputation, the Worst Game I've ever Played is Batman Forever on the SNES, worse than the movie. 8:40 - Hey! The game of my next run! 8:41 - Kirby's avalanche for those who don't know 8:42 - X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse, not a very good game. 8:54 - Actually I don't know whether or not Trauma Center is a third party game or not, I think Atlas made it. 9:02 - I think they did announce a Shitty sequel 9:09 - If you can't read it, it says: Kinda Shitty, inspired from undercoverfilmer00v's review of Adventures in the Magical Kingdom. 9:12 - The song is Lose Yourself by Eminem, while game music would have fit better for the credits, I just went with this.

The duck/jump buttons NEVER confused me once, WTF?
This game gets too much hate, it's a DEFINITE PICKUP considering how cheap it is. I got a NEW COPY OF THIS WITH NO MORE HEROES for 16 bucks on ebay.
I give it a 7/10. The controls are odd at first and you'll hate them when you start, but grow on you and the game is DEFINITELY PLAYABLE AND FUN once you spend a half hour playing it.
