@Dendiol Im sure that's true, but that's because Scotland was kept in abject poverty for an awful long time. Unfortunately you cant just leave history aside becuase its the history of our islands that has made them what they are today. I hate this argument because I honestly am not particularly patriotic to Scotland, I love being British and consider us all in it together, but there is a need to be realistic and the reality is that Scotland is poor becuase it has been kept poor by England.

@Dendiol England's money? British money and Scotland, Wales and N.Ireland are part of Britain along with England...for now anyway. Im against independance, but it's because of this attitude from parts of England that Englands owns the UK that people want independance in teh first place. England is the richest nation in the UK and nobody is disputing that, but historically this is because it raped the other countries in teh union for centuries. Its British money, not English.

@sidensvans54 oyu may or may not be too young to remember that the conservatives did FAR FAR worse in destroying communities villages and towns in the north Wales and scotland. They looked after the south, and if they ever make a monument of Margret thatcher when she dies I will piss on it. @Rumblepish Scotland's economy will collapse if it ever becomes independent. Alex Salmond is an idiot - you have everything free now but at some point he's going to have to make savings as Scotland's budget will soon run out. Independence will make you more isolated and look more silly. You should stay in the Union if you want Scotland to stay great.
