If I were to believe for a minute that Osama was responsible for 9/11 (I don't), why would the US military kill him? Surely the mastermind of terror would have a TON of information they can torture out of hii\m (I don't believe in torture but u know the US gov't uses it to gather info).

So much don't make sense out of the "official" stories..from 911 to Osama's alleged death this year. Ah, but did anyone of us really expect anything else but more lies? :-/

And Hedges argues the real problem is US occupations? Al Qeada has killed 10x more middle eastern people for being Shia, Sufi, or in the wrong place at that time, than westerners.

Why are they discussing laws of war when Al-Qaeda is a criminal organization, not a state that one can declare war on? If anything law enforcement laws ought to apply.

I realize that the sign says "War on Terror", but that doesn't mean you can declare an actual war on anything. Law of wars is for countries.
