Sadly I don't know much about the mechanics of the museum either. At the bottom of the sealed cave is something very good as I am sure you might know. Not much more that I can think of in the area of side quests after this one (for a bit.)

Yeah this museum stuff doesn't make much sense to me. Oh well a little extra cash later on won't hurt that's for sure:D

I forgot what the Sealed Cave was. Once again, I think the next place to go in the main quest has something to do with the Magic Carpet. Try finding places you wouldn't be able to access by other conventional means.

There should also be a Slime Arena somewheres (I think) and you can enter your slime in to fight for prizes. I forgot if that was in DQ5 or DQ6
