I think this is just ugly.

@exxxmarine it sounds like he's beating the hell out of the keys!

that was cool

The sounds of the trackers should NOT be heard on an organ, any more than the jacks should be heard in harpsichord performance. It is perfectly possible to play a tracker instrument, fully coupled, at speed, without all that extraneous noise. I do so on a regular basis.

Composition is exceedingly interesting, but the performer needs to work on the delicacy of his touch. Even a completely mechanical organ action need not be this clickety-clackety.

Nice jacket. is that silk?

I just noticed: Nice how the registrant forgot to turn the pages at 7:32 :-) He repeated the passage a couple of times in that "gap" :-D

This is a really interesting performance :) I am personally no friend of such music, especially played on organ but that piece is really convincing me! First I though: what's that? But after listening to it a while and getting in to the mood of the piece I start to like it really much! ;) Hopefully I will get the chance somewhen to get my hands on the score of this beautiful modern piece.
By the way: you can pretty much dance to this very good I found out myself :D

Kind of neat, congratulations! Sounds like the Buxtehude g minor at about 7:15
very different but you know the sounds of the trackers with the organ gives it a quasi-castanet feel giving it a really folk type flavor. I hope those are on the CD too because it helps give a wonderful flavor to the piece.

I hope you will bay the CD
Proprius, PRCD2055. This organ is the best in the world for barock acording to the pros.
