There's a story behind the song, like all of them. But the footage is, as it says, of my friend Mitchell and his daughter, friends and some other folks, making apple cider. We made a little pear cider, too, and it was all delicious to the last drop.

I'm a big fan of the food I get from this area, and Mitchell's farm was a major portion of my diet this past summer. His biggest crop is blueberries. I eat so many. Mmm.
