I like your vest but the rubber band isn't gonna do much in a gun fight, maybe be enough for starting an IV....maybe.I would advise to go through some formalized medical training.Still a good start though.
yes. That's where I bought mine. Be sure to check the "Close Out" Sections often. Thats where I found my vest for roughly $25.00 instead of the $70.00 ish, and a lot of my other gear. Saves a lot of money- problem is, with close outs, they may not have your color or size available, so you would have to buy the regular one at full price. Good luck to ya!
Oh wow! I was looking for ideas for my vest, and I actually had attached my 6.6 med pouch in the same exact spot, on the same vest ! :) Except my load out is all solid black.
Ummm... that little rubber band in the first aid kit isn't going to do much of anything, well it might be good for attaching a toe tag.
Since you seem to think you are going to be in a gunfight I'd suggest getting some actual first aid training. Actually its a good idea for things that might happen to you or others in real life too.
the LBV cannot carry armor plates or soft armor. it also has more molle ie. around the sides. It is a tighter fit and overall 'better'. under no cercumstances would i suggest getting a plate carrier without plates...its unessicary bulk and weight. In any instance an LBV can be adjusted to go over existing armor. Mainly the reason i decided to go with LBV and not plate carrier is because i have access to n issued level 2a vest capible of holding 10x12 plates.
Good vids... Most of the stuff should go on the front though... Put AR Mags at bottom, pistol mags above or on top (depending on AR pouchs), Pistol is better where the pistol mags currently are, if you'd like you can through a fixed blade upside down on left shoulder, medical kit either on back lower corners so you can get to it or top center so a buddy can easily get to it while you provide cover fire, Flash light pouch/leatherman where ever is easy and free perhaps on the belt...

Does anyone know if this vest can be purchased directly from the 511 Tactical website?
