Given that you're unemployed, you should consider upgrading to 4GB or more of RAM if possible, instead of building a whole new computer, for Win7. I don't think your motherboard will support it though; my XP machine took DDR(1) RAM, so yeah >_>.

@Adamantium9001 I have 4GB of RAM (max allowed in WinXP) and my mobo supports up to 8GB, but I want to upgrade the whole system because video rendering and livestream encoding all comes down to the CPU.

It is true that we too have been pluaged by the mysterious Farlander, codenamed "Kurtjmac", and his irritating wolf. However, the Spider General seeks one of our spiders to ride. Le sigh...Kurt has problems with being surrounded by trees, but when he needs wood, he doesn't cut them down! When he was walking through whole forests, the whole time, I was like, "Cut down some of those annoying possibly-Creeper-hiding trees!", but he didn't cut down any trees until he found one lonely one in the middle of a tundra! DX

Dang et.We have been foiled again.Not only did the first creeper fail to kill the "Kurt" Farlander,but it seems the second one hesistated to get closer for a surprise attack.

I shall release my rage on the Spider and Skeleton general.

Note to self:We have underestimated kurt.He is smarter than we think...

Or, you could use Windows 8 Developer Preview which is free, to dual boot.

Since you're going to build a new computer, you might as well build one powerful enough that it delays the inevitable Far Lands lag as long as possible. If possible, don't focus on sound only.

@jerrythedutchmapler mate pop filters are really all the same. but for a nady 6 or something it is $16 dollars on amazon. look it up on youtube.
