Sound Horizon - El no Rakuen [side_A] ~piano cover~

Sound Horizon is one of my favorite bands ever.
They're so creative and amazing~
This is one of my favorite songs from them, too~
It tells the story of the little girl, Elysion. At the beginning, her and the spirits in heaven ("paradise") are conversing. She is without her father, ABYSS, however, and is lonely as she made a promise to stay together forever with him. The next part of the song introduces the tragedy of El. The small tunes nearing the end represent one letter of ABYSS' name, referring to the five girls he takes with him in the album (Ark, Baroque, Yield, Sacrifice, and Stardust). In the end, she follows her father to hell and finds her "paradise" with him.

At least, with my limited Japanese, that's what I got from the song. It's more metaphorical than anything. Paradise and Hell might actually be the same place...

i believe that the actual plot and main theme for Elysion was that Elys "Hell" became her "Paradise" thats what they said in the first track, anyway. and in the last track, when referring to death, it was the fourth paradise but it was also the [ABYSS] where people must end up when they fall "vertically."

@Renessme4eva I've heard several different ideas behind the "plot" of the album. I'm not sure what to think of it now, but whenever I listen to the album, this is what it comes out to me. I haven't heard it in a while, though, but if I can get it on my iPod again, I'll recheck. =)
