Afterglow / testing EOS 500D for video

Testing my brand new Canon EOS 500D (= Rebel T1i) and my kick scooter on the water! This is quite close to the original video taken by the camera. I just added the titles and cut some pieces, but made no post-production or color correction. (and of course I recompressed it before uploading)

Ciao gantico...ho visto il tuo video e, come molti altri, mi lascia sempre senza parole...ma c'è un settaggio particolare per ottenere dei filmati così puliti? io uso la lente inclusa nel kit (18-55 mm) ma i risultati lasciano molto a desiderare..pieno di pixel e poco definiti...che sia proprio la lente a farmi questi brutti scherzi? Bel soggetto cmq per il video...complimenti^^

la lente fa sicuramente la differenza, ma ci sono tanti altri fattori come le impostazioni della macchina, la luce, la messa a fuoco, il blocco dell'esposizione, il movimento del soggetto e della camera, come stabilizzi le riprese. Già provato a riprendere con un cavalletto e luce buona?

It films for approx. 20 min before it starts overheating and after 30min it turns off automatically :)
