SWR's own Tony Franklin caught up with Derek Smalls of Spinal Tap during rehearsals for the Live Earth concert at Wembley stadium in 2007. The conversation ranges from Derek's favorite SWR gear to the status of his long-dormant solo projects. Rated PG-13!

At 67 lbs, I highly doubt that Derek could *lift* the SM-1500 with those arms. Thank goodness for the Road Crew
PS: Hey SWR, how about bringing back some of the "classic SWR" designs like the rock tone of the Interstellar Overdrive, a simple preamp of the "SWR Sound" like the Grand Prix, and the amazingly versatile Mo' series? I'd personally rather give my money to you guys for a new model then pay for a used one on eBay, and there's no preamp to keep me with SWR if my Mini Mo' dies.
