You've explained the word cult wrong. It comes from the word occult, meaning dark and it's also described as a new religious movement or other group whose beliefs or practices are considered abnormal or bizarre. Another way it's described is as a quasi-religious organization using devious psychological techniques to gain and control adherents. Cults also tend to lack organizational structure and also to do more harm than good.
Not saying Mormonism is or isn't a cult, but that's the definition.

My dog doesn't ever want to drink soda, or beer, or eat chocolate, I think he's secretly a mormon. I am so diasppointed in him.

after watching that South Park episode, i couldn't believe it was true ... until i did my own research (it was all pretty much true) The Book of Mormon is a false book and has no meaning to real Christians, Mormons believe that the Garden of Eden was really in the state of Missouri ?! lol , They worship Joseph Smith as a prophet, they believe Jesus and Satan were spiritual brothers, they are also racist (couldn't allow blacks to serve in their "church") ... its freaking crazy !!!!
