Interesting we were fighting fascism in Europe while engaging in fascism on our own soil during the war.

@am220uss There's nothing you can do that justifies this. The military was concerned about potential spies and worried about the Japanese Americans picking sides with Japan if they invaded. These were American citizens with rights guaranteed by the Constitution. The equivalent would be today locked up Muslims indefinitely because of the "war on terror", wait we're already doing that aren't we?

46,000 of the 110 thousand interned or relocated were citizens of Japan. The rest were their children who had dual citizenship. japanese law said any child born to Japanese parents even in the U.S. were japanese citizens. therefore all were japanese citizens in part. The fact that Japan had declared war on the
U.S. made them enemy aliens and by the Geneva conventions internment
of any aliens is required for their protection. All countries at war did the same. Canada, Mexico, and japan

but i like Japan O.O i never realised they did this to America =0 in UK we don't get taught about these >.<
Japanese/American's proved there loyality during WW2 despite all the prejudice and adversity they endured. I am proud of them.

This was a truely amazing video...It shows how horrible this was. We all need to learn, and not repeat this again. I hope in the future this will never happen again.
