Ringu Tulku Rinpoche is a Tibetan Buddhist Master of the Kagyu Order. He was trained in all schools of Tibetan Buddhism under many great masters such as HH the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa and HH Dilgo Khentse Rinpoche. This video selection focuses on our resistance to dharma practice.
Rinpoche understood resistance as refusal to do things.. but the question was reall about "self restraint", not "resistance". she meant "how do i resist my anger, desires and temptations?" this is called "self restraint" restraining the Kilesas (defilements) - it is a shame that sometimes questions are lost in tranlation. Rinpoche is a great teacher i have spent 3 retreats with him. He gave good tips in this video but out of context with the question
