I got a great deal for this game for only $15.. sadly no instructional manual or any of the bonuses (oh well great deal for a used copy with little scratches).

I was on a SMT withdrawal from my mass P4 playing.. and since I don't have Nocturne (I thought of starting over and doing things the right way since I know how SMT games are played now) I looked for DDS1 and found it.

Plus I heard it was much easier than Nocturne (but harder than Persona)

Big credit to Blaise9 for tempting me in getting this (yes I saw a bunch of his boss videos for this game).

Key points for me playing though:
- FAQ slightly used (to learn controls, basis of game and stuff, due to lack of instructional manual)
- FAQ walkthrough slightly used (for the annoying Nocturne-like dungeons)
- Tactics Known (got spoiled from watching "some" of Blaise9's boss videos)

I love the idea of Blaize9's maxing Magic in beginning (I want to use the MC as a nuker).. so I will probably do that then max VIT & AGI afterwards.

So anyways:
- vote YAY or NAY for gameplay vids
- GIVE ME TIPS AND ADVICE for this game!
- Add any other comment opinions too!

DDS1 should last me until I want to play any other games (like SO4 extras or etc)... until my next big game is out.. Cross Edge (assuming NIS didn't do a screwup like they did on AT2).

@JKordero sqauresoft and Enix are great companies, squareenix.... hmm I dont know about that. You can always count on the guys at ATLUS when it comes to making mature RPG games. infact I think they've cured the empty feeling squaresoft left us when half the members disbanded. I think you can agree with me when I say SquareEnix FF games are all about looks and no substance. final fantasy's history is like the history of the starwars games.

@SatoriHaddad theres no link in beween shin megami, only the demons and... emmm jack frost? XP. anyway, the persona series are completly differentt from digital devil, shin megami, devil survivor, devil sumoner (i only play those) or jack brothers (LOL). enjoy every saga separately (btw, persona series are the easier shin megami saga EASIER, maybe u get upset if u dont like dificult games)

@BlueDemonofFire I'd say they actually nicked more from persona 3 than DDS in the characters-relationship-depart­ment. Either way I dislike 13 with a rather large passion.
