I like l English I am francais but I speak English good(well) but there was a melange of francais and English but the revolution has was tres pitiful for our immage in 1789 jusqu has now d ailleur but well lives lively France l England
@Freez57fr There is corruption of the people who headed the revolt. The fact that those same people were sent to death by the political parties that they once stood for. No one trusted anyone and there was massive paranoid killings. There was destruction of sculptures and churches. Priceless paintings and artwork gone, never to be apprieciated by the modern world. failed constitution after failed constitution. Genocide of the Vendee.
@Freez57fr History is taught by whoever has the power to control bias. An example is everything that is being brought out of russia after the USSR was disbanded. I've been taught by French teacher who have shown thier ignorance in telling students that they needed the blood of the royals to bleed out the so called badness. If you don't see that as archaic then your in a strange world. Yes thier is more to the revolution then the guillotine.
At least we didn't wait that our liberty was given.
And we don't learn lies at school but the real facts. And the real facts are much more complex that guillotine, guillotine and guillotine, the only thing the anglo-saxons remember about our revolution.
@vphuongdktdbk Your ignorance shows, the fact you imply that death of inocents is a party. Your liberty came at a price, sadly for the people of france. Do me a favour and read a history book based on facts from real documents. Not the lies taught to you by your school history teachers.

@Freez57fr The point is there was wrong doing on both sides, but celebrating it is what gets people angry.
