Stray kitten playing

This was a stray kitten that had been hanging around another stray we started to feed around our house because she was starving. My boyfriend named him Sausagefest even though I didn't like the name for obvious reasons. At first this kitten wouldn't even let us look at him and all we saw was a white streak as he ran by, but slowly he got used to us walking by and didn't run right away. One day he wandered into our doorway when the other cat was allowed to walk a few steps inside. I touched the kitten and he enjoyed it until he realized it was me petting him and he ran outside. A few days later I was able to sit near him and he was trying to get the other stray to pay attention to him because I suspect that he lost his mother too early. I started to pet him and he didn't run away even though he was still a little cautious. But his loneliness got the better of him and I sat out there for hours playing with him and petting him. This video is shortly after I gained his trust. I adopted him and got him fixed. Then he started acting strange and he stopped letting me touch him. We took him to the vet and they took my money to hardly do anything. The cat stopped coming inside to even eat and the worry was killing me. I couldn't get near him to give him the medicine the vet gave me so he was taken to the animal shelter where they determined he was hurt worse than the vet told me and had to be put down. He was a sweet cat and I loved him very much. So if you see a stray animal in need I hope you will have the patience to show it some kindness.
