The cross is an intuitive step, many websites have good tutorials so if you are having difficulty solving the cross you shouldn't have any trouble getting help.

Once you have memorized the algorithms from this solution you should be able to average anywhere between 2 and 5 minutes. Lubing your cube and using finger-tricks could bring your times down to sub-60 seconds with a bit of practice.

Please send me a message if you have any questions.

  • thanks man, i've been using this method for over 3 years, but i want to know, is this method faster than OLL and PLL? Because most cubers use PLL and OLL, and I use this method. Any comments to make on this?

  • @J0hnnyH4ck3r OLL PLL is faster because the recognition is much easier. The reason I made this tutorial with this method is because this is the beginner method I learned.

  • there must have been something you didn't put in this tut because I did it all and its almost solved but at the end I have an edge piece that in the right place but the colors are reversed. All the other sides are solved but its alway this edge piece I can't solve.

  • @Darkkeyblade2501 You're right. I didn't give any mention to that possibility. Your cube, once upon a time, fell apart, or maybe just one piece fell out. Edges can only be incorrectly oriented in multiples of 2. It might feel like cheating, but the only way to solve your cube is to take that piece out and flip it over. You have what is called an "illegal" or "impossible" case that has resulted from incorrect re-assembly. After that you won't run into the problem again.

  • Thanks for this video...it really helped

  • So confusing. The easiest thing to do is just take off all the stickers and put the same colors on a side of the cube:)

  • u got everything until u solved the yellow. thats when my rubiks cube started to fall apart (not literally). and i also didnt get the explination the step before solving for the yellow corner pieces. otherwise this was a very helpful video.
