@dumaznbum yea i suppose hammering the pc rank into ur forehead probably isnt the best idea of all time. i remember when i was in osut some kid from a different platoon got promoted to pfc shortly before graduation, and him and his buddies decided to be retarded and do the whole blood-rank thing on his white asu class B shortsleeve shirt. He ended up having to graduate in his long sleeves in the hot georgia sun cause his b had blood on the collar. fucking clown.

@mattaguitar5 my old platoon sergeants use to tell me stories of how they (or others they've witnessed) had their pin ranks hammered into their collar bones when the Army still had pin on ranks, followed by the rest of the company doing the same. end result is very bloody uniforms. lol several soldiers i knew still have pin mark scars.

@mattaguitar5 yea its a tradition only Marine Corps Gold wingers have done since the Vietnam era..traditions like these run through the Corps..good luck with airborne and lol yea camaraderie is a big thing with us
