The stock g37 has only one engine it is a 3.7L V6 with 330hp @ 7000 RPM and Torque 270 (lb-ft) @ 5200 RPM The solara is a 3.0L V6 stock making 200hp @ 5500 RPM and Torque 212 (lb-ft) @ 4400 RPM so yea it is about 130hp check out the manufacture website or even wikipedia if you want the info is all over the place the solara uses a 1MZ-FE 3.0 V6 while the engine for the G is the VQ37VHR.

a Stock E46 still beats a Stock G37 and the G37 is 3 years newer LOL just my 2 cents also on a quarter mile the E46 beats the G37 by at least .700 which is pretty big

Mmk, maybe purchasing brand new or where you live. But I could easily find a used 2008 IS-F for near 40k, its not a Benz or some shit.. One is more reliable, that is the main difference =]

That's like comparing apples to oranges. The IS-F is a different class, and price range. You can get a G for just over 40K, while the IS-F approaches the 60K mark.

@tstaines2000 o cuz i herd people can get the 6 speed thru at 13.5 or 13.6 range and for now no but mite put a cold air kit and exhaust soon.

@Iradoncic I ran a best time of 13.79 @ 102mph. Are you gonna keep your G stock?

13.3 with a G37 coupe 6-speed? Nice...what mods do you have done to get into the low 13's like that? I run high 13's with mine, but it's bone stock. I'd love to get into the low 13's.

@EvenSteven2004 I had a pair of drop-in filter and HFC. I recently ran a 13.01 @ 108mph with On Cobb AP.
