wow, 2500 subscribers. I never would have thought I would get this far.

when I first started vidding (back in the good 'ol wmm days!) on my old account CaptainJackThePaint, my only reason for being here was my friends irl, and when I finally started getting serious about editing the only goals I had were to have 100 subscribers (maybe), and have at least one of my idols here on youtube subscribe to me. you know, normal new vidder goals, but I would've never guessed the phenomenal result of what really happened here. you guys have seen every aspect of my life - all the horses, the drama, the amazing times, and the terrible - you guys have been here. when I first started I was just an average kid trying to become /somebody/ and you guys made it happen.. as much as I say it, I seriously cannot thank you guys enough, you've made everything here so much more worthwhile than I could've ever imagined with every sweet comment or message, and all the kind words I've received over the years. (ugh, I'm seriously getting choked up over here, I'm such a loser x'D) actually, thank you doesn't even cover what I want to say to you guys, but I just can't put it into words.
anyways, though, this is not the 2500 video I wanted to present to you all and it's nothing compared to what I was going to show, but I just couldn't get the inspiration to finish the other and it just wasn't.. special enough..? yeah. I do hope you all enjoy this one though. I apologize for the use of extremely old clips (yes, mikey made an appearance in this one), but I felt I needed to throw some of the past in with the present.

I do regret to inform you all that this will be the last video you see from me for awhile. I have a huge rodeo this weekend (if any of you guys live in the Mena, Arkansas area you should come to the rodeo and see me! ^^) and then right after that I'm moving into college and I just won't have time to edit like I have been. I need to focus on life, and college, and the future. also, I just can't take any more of coming here, it's become almost torture (for a few very specific reasons that I will not get into). It's been amazing though guys, and if I'm not back, then thank you all for making my almost 4 years here so awesome :') it's been the time of my life!
youtube is such a fantastic place, people from anywhere can come from any country, any religion, any race and come together to celebrate something we all love. sure there's always drama, and "haters" and such but for the most part we're a pretty happy community. part of me is devastated that I have to leave here with a slight chance that I may not have the time or the gumption to come back, but another part of me is excited for the next generation of 'youtubers' or whatever that'll step up and do just what this generation did. I can only hope that equestrian vidding will continue to grow (but not too much..) and people will continue to make history here. I love you guys, I really do, and I only hope the best for you!

Aww this was deifinitely special enough, probably more so because of all the emotion behind both the video and the song. I'm writing this one down as a song for my iPod, it's so full of emotion. You know I adore your videos and I really hate to see you go, but unfortunately I have to agree with you that it's time for the next generation to take the reins, to step up and show us what they can do.
