Does anyone know???? I am debating among 4 kinds of 15" speakers for live music sound. JBL Eons, Electro Voice, black widow peavys, or Mackie's. Which ones would sound the best for clear, natural, studio quality sounding vocals, as well as clear bass and mids for all kinds of music. Any recomendations from anyone??
sorry if you cant afford also the quality of the Ev. We do not nuy the brand but we buy the quality. I've tested RCF it was quite gud but not that much as good as Ev :(
:/ so expensive for what they deliver.. I tested 2 of them feed with 600w rms against some diy speakers using RCF drivers and EV was owned hard. At sound quality and at output as well. Sory for the EV owners.. on this speakers i think u are buiyng the brand not the product.
The sx300 sounds better at low to moderate volumes imo. The zx3 sounds much better at insane volumes -a much louder box -it can keep up with qrx dual 18" subwoofers just fine. Amazing. It really depends on how loud you want your setup to be.
ZX is the way to go! it uses an ND2 driver used in the PHOENIX system. I came from the JBL family of speakers but after hearing EVs I was blown away with the distinct clarity they produce.
