how much hair do you have to lose in order to qualify for surgical procedure? I am young and lost some hair on the sides (pattern baldness). It is not much but it does bother me and I am worried that it might expand...also is there an alternative proven method to re-grow hair on the side?
thanks

question: i'm black and want to get back into modeling. i have thick thick hair all over my hair except for i have a silver dollar area right in front where it's thining, not gone, but thinning. Could i get a transplant to redo the hair? But i need a full like wall of hair in front, not whispy. I straighten, braid and do all sorts of stuff to my hair.

first we would have to find out what is causing the loss. if it is a circular area it could be a type of disease. if it is simply male pattern or female pattern loss then transplant surgery could be the answer. a consultation with a transplant surgeon will help you.

Generally, how much would you say something like this would cost?
