A 5-year drought saps the land of any life-giving resources. Without crops, livestock or drinking water, poor Kenyan families can't feed their children.

How Kenya is being affected by the drought:

• Farmland is drying up
• Kenya's grain harvest is expected to fall by 28%
• Food prices have soared 130%

Kenyans are even slaughtering their dairy goats for food. Goats, that alive, mean a steady supply of cheese and milk to secure a family's health and future.
