Senator Bob Huff Opens First Hearing of Senate Budget Committee

Senator Bob Huff (R-Diamond Bar), the Vice-Chair of the Senate Budget Committee, delivers his opening statement at the very first committee hearing signaling the start of the 2011-2012 Legislative Session. The Senate Budget Committee is appointed with the task of finding solutions to close up a budget deficit of more than $26 billion. Senator Huff, whose district covers portions of Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino Counties, does not think that new taxes or burdens on California families are the answer.
