In the Costa Vicentina Natural Park, overlooking a valley and at a short distance from unforgettable beaches, Monte da Vilarinha combines all the simplicity of the rural environment with comfort and modernity. It is the refuge of João Pedro Cunha, who has found here the traditional Algarve he recalls from his childhood. The lodge houses are separated into 3 distinct
areas, and they were built with typical materials from the region: bamboo ceilings, lath-and-plaster walls, schist and wood combine with contemporary decoration, creating an environment where we feel like staying. Relax in
a terrace with a view over the valley, feel scent of the countryside and live every detail of this piece of "sierra" with sea flavour. Enjoy the moment.

I was there. The place is absolutely gorgeous. It combines beach and country side. Very natural and unexplored. I wish there were still lots of places like this on earth.
