You know those Hallmark cards that play music and TV show audio clips when you open them? well I have one that plays a clip of the song All Star by the band Smash Mouth, the song heard in this video is on their Astro Lounge album. Here i have the chip connected via audio cable to the line in on my computer to record/play the audio from the chip thru my speakers and it sounds very clear for a chip. OK i know i said in the video that id be putting the song that I recorded off the chip in the end of the video but i decided not to because a lot of fellow youtubers are losing accounts so i didnt but maybe ill post a 10 second snip of it in another vid so you can hear the quality

  • can u tell me witch part hold the song? :S

  • @111jeni111

The black part on the board holds the little chip which has the program info as well as the song file. There is no way to digitally copy this audio file other than thru the audio out as of this point but you never know there might someday be a way. there are better ways to get that clip like from an mp3 of that song and use it as your ringtone.

  • I have a board from a talking GI Joe that I am going to play throw my stereo XD

Make a video of that and upload it. Do playback thru the stereo and then at the end do a direct hookup to the video. Like record the chip's audio by the speaker out to a wav file and then put that wav at the end of the vid.

Exactly it's just simplified. it's a tiny computer that plays an audio file.

  • @coondogtheman1234 I know it's not an ipod, but its basically the same thing with this on a smaller scale.

  • @Nirvalica

This is a chip device and not an iPod. This has a simple program and audio file built in and all it does it play back a clip of a song when power is applied. There is no play button. This uses a 16khz sample rate and sounds very good for a chip.

  • @coondogtheman1234 Well whats the difference between a "chip" device and something like an ipod?

  • @Nirvalica

The audio quality isnt that great but its fantastic for a chip device. Remember when audio on chips first came out? the sound was horrible. Tiger electronics/Hasbro Should have used this technology in their hitclips players.

  • @coondogtheman1234 Oh, ok. Jw cause its not like the audio quality is good at all. I just didn't see any benefit, but I guess there wasn't really one besides just doing it.
