Wales Millennium Centre opening

This was the first ever public performance in the WMC, at a special concert to celebrate the opening of the iconic centre for the performing arts in Cardiff, Wales. Most of the tickets were free - given away as prizes in a national draw to attend the concert. The seven resident companies come together to perform a piece called 'See this building'. The Welsh baritone Bryn Terfel introduces the audience to the building, and at the end you see glimpses of the building against a montage of Welsh stars of stage and screen
